Workshops & Classes at The Artery
For weekday classes held at the shop classroom, lessons are £12 each. Book and pay for 5 classes and pay only £50 (save £10). Attend two classes at the shop in the same week and get the second class half price (saving you £6) Booking in advance is essential, and payment is required at least one week prior to the class.
Mondays 10:00am-1:00pm is the Great Bourton Art Group which is taught by our tutor but at Great Bourton Village Hall. A fun and friendly group with half an hours tuition at the start giving you plenty of time to be creative. We meet every Monday except for Bank Holidays and the week around Christmas. A timetable is available to download at the bottom. £12 per session
Mondays 7:00pm-9:00pm is our 'Weekly Evening Watercolour' class aimed at those with some knowledge of watercolour painting who find it dificult to attend our daytime classes. A different subject is tackled each week, nd follows the same class as the Thursday afternoon lesson of the same week. Not including Bank Holidays. £12 per session
Tuesdays 2:00pm-4:30pm is the fortnightly 'Acrylics' workshop. If you have thought about using acrylic paints, but don't know where to start, then this is the class for you. Each week, knowledge is built up gradually. You will take home a completed picture at the end of each class. £12 per session
Wednesdays 2:00pm-4:30pm is the fortnightly 'Drawing' workshop. If you have thought about using pencil, but don't know where to start, then this is the class for you. Each week, knowledge is built up gradually. You will take home a completed picture at the end of each class. £12 per session
Wednesdays 1:00pm-1:45pm is the fortnightly 'Lunchtime Artist' alternating with the drawing workshop. This is open to anyone who has a short amount of time and wants to get a broad overview of learning to paint and draw. A different bite-sized topic is covered each lesson. £5 per session **STARTS IN MAY**
Wednesdays 7:00pm-9:00pm is a series of 'Art History' courses. A great evening for those who appreciate art and its historical context. As a general rule two artists are discussed each week - their life, background, and a few good paintings explored depending on the theme of the course. £40 per 5 week course.

Wednesdays 7:00pm-9:00pm is a series of 'Craft' classes. These classes take place around once a month, and are a way of exploring traditional crafts. £15 per session.
Thursdays 10:00am-12:30pm is Art for the Anxious.A different subject each week with stepby-step demonstrations along the way. A different every month for a different medium. All abilities welcome. All materials provided. £15 per session.
Thursdays 2:00pm-4:30pm is our 'Watercolour 1' class aimed at those with some knowledge of watercolour painting. A different subject is tackled each week. £12 per session.
Fridays 10:30am-12:00pm is our Short Courses. A short course to give you a wider overview, and a deeper appreciation. Materials provided. £35 per course.

Fridays 1:30am-4:00pm is our 'Watercolours 2' class that run every Friday afternoon. Total and Absolute Beginners are very welcome. It is designed so that knowledge is built up gradually. £12 per session.
Saturdays 11:00am-11:45am are our monthly Masterclass These stand alone workshops are taught by expert artists in their field. All materials are provided for the day, along with a light lunch. Details can be downloaded below.
Sundays 10:30m-1pm are our monthly Watercolour Classes Details are available to download below. Held the 2nd Sunday each month. £10 per session.
